Happy Thanksgiving with Prima Marketing

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman on the blog today wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving.  Hope you have a wonderful day (and save a little time for some crafting!)  Check out the Rubber Buggy store for some amazing products.

I've used the Prima Marketing Autumn Moon 6" x 6" paper pad.  This collection is amazing and perfect for your Fall creations.

Using my Scor-Pal, I created a card from Bazzill Circus Peanuts cardstock.  Several sheets of papers from the Amber Moon collection were matted with the same cardstock and added to the card.

I wrapped the top panel with May Arts sheer ribbon before adhering it to the card.  Then I die cut assorted pattern papers and Circus Peanuts cardstock using Spellbinders dies, adding them to the card with foam adhesives.

Using part of the pattern paper that says Hello Autumn, I die cut it and matted it to a larger die before adding  it to the ribbon.

For my second card, I used the same pattern paper pack but selected different papers to use.

Using my Scor-Pal I created a card from Bazzill Cardstock and added the woodgrain paper layer.  Next, I wrapped it with May Arts ribbon.

I tore the pumpkin layer and matted it with cardstock before adding it to the card with foam adhesives.  Finally, I cut apart the one of the papers, matting each with cardstock, and adding to the card with foam adhesives.

Happy Thanksgiving

Lawn Fawn Shaker Slider Box Card

It's Jennifer here with a Shaker, Slider Box Card my Sister Challenged
me to it so I gave it a go and really love how it came up.
I used all Lawn Fawn Goodies I will give you a list at the end.

So I have a slider on the front flap and  on the back one I have created the
shaker in the snowy mountains. I might have to take a close up for you.
The slider was too long so I did a partial die cut one end then a partial
die cut from the other end it worked beautifully.

I hope you enjoyed this Cute Little Box Card. I will add the instructions
again from the Shaker Box Card I did last year saving you look for them.
This is the list of the goodies I used for this card.

Hi I am here for The Rubber Buggy to show you how to put
together  this Awesome and I mean Awesome and a must have
for any cardmaker die  the LF Scalloped Box Card.
So all the dies are in the packet and lots of embellishing
ones too that I didn't use. First I cut out two of the Box.
I also used the small layer die to cut out one of the larger
scalloped tops to make a window.

I cut 3 of the inserts.

Then I put accetate over it and my 3M tape
popped a few sequins in it.

I then created the background using 8cm x 10.5 cm

Then placing it over the sequins.
I then added a layer cutting two 5.3cmx 5.3cm and one
5.3cm x 7.9 cm

cutting two 5.3cm x 4.5cm and one 4.5cm x 7.9cm

I then used the layers from the kit this is the bottom of the box
and missed the pic for the top layer. I used
LF Winter Perfectly Plaid.

So you can see the shaker here and see where I have joined
the two pieces together.

I then taped each end of the inserts I placed them on the smaller
section equally apart.

I taped the joining piece on the end and if you lay them all flat
you fold the bigger section down and they all fit perfectly in the
 right spots.

this how it folds for a standard envelope too!

With all its layers on and you can see the shaker.

Then to decorate! I used Christmas as I like to do Christmas
Cards 2 a month so by the time I get to Christmas I have done
most of them. I used the Fabulous LF Cheery Christmas Set.

Love the way it come out. The sentiment is from
LF Big Scripty Words Winter.

Super fun Best Wishes Gift Card Holder

Hi... it's Bev here today. So how are you enjoying fall or for some the start of winter with snow staying on the ground already? Today at The Rubber Buggy I am using Blue Fern Studios Amber and Apricot Collection along with some fun stamping and die cuts.  This card has a simple but easy fold flap inside to hold a gift card.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Blue Fern Studio Amber & Apricot
Dies: tutti word set Best Wishes, Memory Box Distressed Baptisia Collage
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Vintage Photo, Ranger Die Ink Black Tie
Glue: Beacon 3-in-1
Other: cardstock, brads, stamp

To make this gift card holding card I used white cardstock paper ... cut to fit your envelope ... but add about a 1.5" band extra to the back panel for the gift card holder section.

Here is the base ready to work on.

On the inside of card I added the decorated papers... I trimmed the flip fold panel and added some cute brads to the outer edges to help hold the pocket for the gift card in tack.

Using brads like this... leave the metal showing... but just cover the back section with paper also.

I stamped inside the card with a fun verse.

To make the front I used the print section of the paper that I loved and sized it first. I die cut the words Best Wishes and also the fun side panel using black cardstock ... a colour that popped off the print and added depth and dimension to the card front.

Thanks for stopping by... see you again soon.

Autumn Wreath

Welcome to my blog, Nancy Hill for The Rubber Buggy Design Team.  I made my 8" wreath with grape vines, Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower dies and stamps, Elizabeth Craft Crysanthemum die, an old maple leaf punch, Tattered Lace Floral Layer leaf die set, starfoam pumpkins and wheat from our field and pine cones from trees.

After stamps and die cutting the Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflowers, use flower shaping kit to mold the petals on the back.  Sponge with NUVO Embellishment Mousse fall colors listed below and sponge Lawn Fawn Sunflower ink on the center of each petal.  Adhere US Art Quest Express Yourself Prills to the center of each sunflower.
NUVO Embellishment Mousse-Indian Gold
NUVO Embellishment Mousse-Persian Red
NUVO Embellishment Mousse - Coral Calypso
Cut out the Tattered Lace Floral Layer leaves and sponge some of the NUVO mousse fall colors on the tips.

Cut out each Elizabeth Craft Crysanthemum flower with different fall colored cardstock.  Using a flower shaping kit, curl the petals upward and adhere the layers.

Stamp and embossed with NUVO Gold Enchantment embossing powder the  Heartfelt Creations Banner with the sentiment and heat the powder with the hot embossing gun.  Cut out a 8" floral wire and bend in the center.  Using a hot glue gun, glue 3" of the double wire on the back of the banner.  The remaining wire will be used to attach and glue to the wreath at the end of the floral arrangement.

Cut enough 3" wire strips for each flower, leaf and pumpkins.  Curled one end of each wire enough to be able to use a hot glue gun to attach it to each flower.  I was able to use a long nose plier and curl about two small circles of wire that was enough to do a good attachment.  Using a hot glue gun, glue the curl end of the wire to each flower, pine cone and star foam pumpkin.

Cut 3" floral wire and glue about 1" of the wire to the back of each leaf. This will make the leaves able to bend a little plus add sturdiness.

Make a floral bow and use a hot glue gun to glue the bow to the wreath.  Arrange your autumn arrangement by poking the wire attached to the flowers, etc.  When you get the arrangement you want, use the hot glue gun and glue each wire attached to a flower or leaf  to the wreath.  If any wire is sticking out of the wreath, just attach it to the wreath or cut it off.  I was able to curl the wire attached to the banner to give it a wave appearance.  Using the hot glue gun, glue around the wires inside the wreath to make it stay there permanently.

I can't wait to see the possibilities that you will create making a wreath.  You can purchase these dies and supplies from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.
Enjoy and Happy Crafting!

Miss Your Hugs

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with a bunch of products from the Rubber Buggy Store.  Have you checked out the store lately?  It has so many wonderful new products.

I die cut which cardstock with the Tutti Designs - Rose Branch Frame .  Using a Nuvo Glue Pen I adhered the die cut panel to Lavender cardstock.  Then I adhered the panel to purple cardstock.

I used the Wplus9 - Miss you lots stamp and coordinating Miss you lots die with white cardstock.  Then I colored the image with Copic Markers.

She was added to the die cut opening on the card front with foam adhesives and the sentiment was slipped behind her.

Thank you for visiting.
