'Sweet' layout using Blue Fern Studios collection plus more...

Hi.. today I am sharing a project for The Rubber Buggy blog. So as lots of you know ... we have moved. So many changes in the last couple of months. I just meet a few of my new neighbors. They are a cute little family and the mom plays outside with her daughter often so I ventured over. I was taking house photos so had my camera. Throughout our get to know you chat I mentioned my passion for scrapping and ask if I took a photo would she love the finished page? Here is my finished page that I presented her with.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Papers: Blue Fern Studios Spring Parade - Remembrance - April Medley - May Vignettes
Chipboard: Blue Fern Studios Arrow Words, Circle Frame
Accents: Blue Fern Studios Happy Accident Printed Chipboard

In the close ups you get a better view of the layers, details and accents.

Super printed chipboard, great coloured flowers, layers of paper and copic coloured chipboard with some fun glitter added.

After colouring the butterfly and circle frame I added some stickles to add sparkle to them. Above the layers I added sew easy ink roller stitches.

Thinking of You Today

Welcome back to my Saturday blog for The Rubber Buggy.  I made this card using the quality paper crafting name-brand supplies from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  Their customer service is wonderful along with fast delivery.

The card measures 7" x 7" and the background patterned paper is from Lemon Craft New House of Roses 6" x 6" collection.

I love making cards using the Heartfelt Creations coordinating dies, stamps and paper collections.  I am still perfecting my roses using the Heartfelt Creations white embossed stamped and die cut roses with Ranger white embossing powder on vellum paper.  Some of the white embossing rubbed off the vellum card stock but actually it looks more lacy now.  I used NUVO Embellishment Peony Pink Mousse on the back of each petal of the vellum roses before gluing the petals together to form these rose.

I added NUVO Crystal Drops Rhubard drops in the center of each rose to cover up the white flower buds or aluminum foil that I used in the center to start forming each rose except for the small rose.

The Heartfelt Creations orchid flower was stamped with a rose pink ink and I used my fingers to spread the NUVO Embellishment Coral Coralypso Mousse on top of the petals.
I cut out the tiny hummingbirds from the Heartfelt Creations Botanic Orchid paper collections.  I stamped and die cut the hummingbird and orchid using the Heartfelt Creations Boutique Orchid stamp and die set.  I colored the hummingbird with Copic markers from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

Thinking of You with Heartfelt Creations

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with a bunch of products from the Rubber Buggy Store.  Be sure you stop by the store to see all the products available.

I used papers from the Prima Marketing Rossi Belle collection.  I find 6" x 6" papers are perfect for cards.  Tear a selection of coordinating papers provides a great base for cards.

Use Heartfelt Creations Leaf  dies to die cut the flourish for the card center.  Stamp sentiment with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink and die cut with Spellbinders oval dies.

Use another selection of papers from the  Prima Marketing Rossi Belle collection, adding Bazzill Cardstock between the layers.  The sentiments are from WPlus9 designs - simple but perfect for the look I was seeking.

'Smile' using Blue Fern Studios Garden Life and 49 and Market Butterfly Harvest

Hi Bev here today. I am sharing a photo of the girls all dressed up... what a great friendship they have. It needed a fun bright page to help with the dark photo on this one. Lots of great products from The Rubber Buggy for this one.... using Blue Fern Studios Garden Life Collection and 49 & Market accents.

Supply List:
Paper: Blue Fern Studios Garden Life - Flower Bed, In Bloom
Accents: 49 and Market Butterfly Harvest
Pen: Nuvo Aqua Flow water colour pen
Chipboards: Creative Embellishments happy words, flourish set 15, hot hexagon panel
Other: mesh beads, sew easy ink roller, Cardstock

In the close ups I give you a better and closer detail view of the layers and accents. Chipboards and accents from 49 & Market Butterfly Harvest are the main accents to this page.

I added some bead strips and used the sew easy ink roller for corner edging.

What a great cluster combo... title  and flourish Nuvo Aqua flow water colored and 49 & Market accent.

I matted the photo which was dark with white and a colour to help make it pop. Not every photo you take is perfect but when it's the only one you have you use it.

The central core of this page is the photo and it's decorated around with amazing coloured accents. It's beautiful.

Cascading Fuchsia

Welcome back to my weekly Saturday blog for The Rubber Buggy Design Team.  I love making flowers and all of my wonderful paper crafting supplies come from The Rubber Buggy on-line store where you have wonderful customer service and very fast delivery.  The Rubber Buggy carries name-brand quality products for you projects.

This week, I made a card using the gorgeous Heartfelt Creation collections of paper, dies and stamps along with using Copic Markers, NUVO Embellishment Mousse colors and NUVO Crystal Drops.

Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations Die - Cascading Fuchsia
Heartfelt Creations Stamp Set - Cascading Fuchsia
Heartfelt Creations Fuchsia Cluster Stamp Set
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Vine Die
Heartfelt Creations Classic Petunia 12" x 12" paper collection
Heartfelt Creations Fleur Border and Pocket die set
Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval Die
NUVO Crystal Drops - Rhubarb Crumble
NUVO Embellishment Mousse Peony Pink
NUVO Embellishment Mousse Mother of Pearl
Copic Markers
Ranger White Embossing Powder
Ranger Dye Black Tie Ink Pad
Poppy Stamp Theo Butterfly Die
4mm flat back pearl string
Neenah Premium White Gold Metallic Card Stock
Neenah Premium Extra Heavy White Card Stock
My Petunia - Misti Stamp Tool
Scor-Tape 1/2" wide
Pink and Rose Red Card Stock

Instructions:

Completed card measures 7" x 8".  I have to always use the Misti stamp tool for all of my stamping.  Otherwise, I get too many problems that can't be fixed of areas where the ink isn't stamped.  If you don't know how to us the Misti, I have a U-Tube tutorial on my blog and the huge benefits using this tool (I can say enough about the positive benefits of using this stamp tool).

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Cascading Fuchia with the Ranger Black Ink and cut it out using the oval die in the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval die set.  I colored the flowers using Copic markers.  I cut out the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval with the Neenah White Gold metallic card stock and adhered the oval on the decorative oval.

Cut out four of the smaller borders in the Heartfelt Creations Fleur Border die set using the white gold metallic card stock.  Cut 6 1/4" x 7"  of the patterned paper found in the Heartfelt Creations Classic Petunia paper collection.  Adhere the borders and oval on the patterned paper.  Cut out 6 3/4" x 7 1/4" of the white card stock and  7" x 8" of the purple card stock and adhere together and adhere the patterned paper on top.  Adhere the flat back pearls string to the decorative oval around the stamped image.

I embossed with the Ranger White Embossing powder the Heartfelt Creations Cascading Fuchsia large and medium size flowers. The top of each flower was cut using white card stock.  I used a samll flower bud with wire to assemble my flowers but you can use a silk flower wire and cut off about 2" and wrap aluminum foil or cotton ball around the wire and glue it together to assemble each flower.  Also, Heartfelt Creations has their own U-Tube on how they make the Cascading Fuchsia flower, by clicking HERE.  The reason that I haven't make the U-Tube yet, is that I am still trying different to create techniques of my own style.  I cut out the flowers with the Heartfelt Creations Fuchsia die set and used my fingers to spread the NUVO Mousse Peony Pink on the tips of each petal. I turn the petals over and use a flower ball molding tool, to mold each petal.  If your card stock is too heavy, use a light amount of spray to soften the paper.  Afterward, I use a embossing heat gun to dry the petals. I tried other ways of applying the NUVO on front of the flower petals but prefer using my fingers.  Afterwards, I poke a hole in the center of each group of petals and pull each one through the wire and adhere together.  I add glue in the center of the flower and add the stamen.  I used the NUVO Crystal Drop Rhubarb Crumble to the ends of each stamen and let dry.  I color two beads with the NUVO Crystal Drop Rhubarb Crumble and pull through the wire and glue the beads to the flower. I die cut one Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Vine and adhere to the top of the oval.  I cut part of the back of each flower and adhere to the top of the vine.  I made and adhere the bow using the 1/2" wide Scor-Tape.  I love this tape because  I can take the bow off of the tape to rearrange the bow and the tape remains sticky. .

I cut out the Poppy Stamp Theo Butterfly die and applied using my fingers the NUVO Mousse Peony Pink and NUVO Mousse Mother of Pearl.  I adhere it with glue to the bow.

Journal NoteBook

Hi everyone!!

It´s Noe here, with a new and simple project that will be very useful to me in the day to day ... A Journal Book ... This first book was made without much decoration on the cover, simple, since it always accompanied me in the bag .. But I promise to make a more fashionable version that I will use as an agenda for the next course.

To make this book I used "Journal XL Die" from Sizzix Eileen Hull ... It´s very easy to use ... It has all the necessary pieces to create a nice journal to accompany you everywhere.

To make the interior booklets I have used 3 papers from the Day Dream Lemon Craft collection ... I love their colours !!

The little sentiment that I have stamped on the cover can be found on the set "Interlocking Squares" by ArtC Stamps ... Take advantage now, it's on sale !!

I'm here for you......

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with a bunch of products from the Rubber Buggy Store.  Be sure you stop by the store to see all the products available.

I used the Heartfelt Creations Tropical Hibiscus stamp and coordinating die set.  I stamped the leaves on green cardstock and the flowers on Vintage Emporium papers from Prima Maketing using black ink.  After die cutting the flowers, I used the pad and 2 sizes of stylus from the Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit on the flowers.

Next, I layered the petals together to form the flower.  Using Beacon Adhesives 3-in-1 Craft Glue, each petal was adhered together.

Die cut 2 shades of blue cardstock with oval dies.  Score the top layer every 1/4" and ink with Ranger Stormy Sky Distress Ink.   Place a sheet of  Vintage Emporium paper under the oval and stamp the phrase from the Guiding Light stamp set by WPlus9 slightly off center.

Adhere the flower and leaves in the opening.  Then add some Nuvo drops in the center.

The light blue layer was added to the bottom layer with foam adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives  for dimension.

Thank you for visiting.
